The URA-derived dwelling inventory records 50 homes at postcode 229743. Far East Organization identifies one 18-storey block, 50 units, freehold tenure and 2015 completion. It names Far East Organization Centre Pte Ltd as developer and Arquitectonica as designer of the Y-shaped tower.
The developer's own publication distinguishes the main tower, an 18th-floor penthouse and a three-storey townhouse. This matters because selected homes have private water facilities that are not part of the communal pool arrangement.
This page concerns Alba at 8 Cairnhill Rise. It does not concern Alana, Altez, another similarly named project or a hospitality property.
Communal and private pool distinctions
Far East's live project page lists a swimming pool, children's pool and spa pool among Alba's common amenities. Its corporate publication captions Alba's recreational pool, corroborating communal swimming water.
The communal swimming pool is the default area for lesson assessment. The children's pool may support selected confidence activities only after depth, boundary and intended use are checked. The spa pool is a leisure feature and is not treated as ordinary learn-to-swim water.
Far East's publication also states that the penthouse has a 15-metre rooftop lap pool and that the townhouse has a private swimming pool. These belong to specific residences, not the common facility inventory. Their existence does not give other residents or instructors access.
The 15-metre measurement must not be transferred to the communal pool. No reviewed source provides a reliable length, width, depth or lane count for Alba's recreational pool.
Management approval and access
Alba is private residential property. Developer-confirmed facilities do not automatically permit paid coaching or grant an external instructor entry.
