Woodlands Swimming Complex is a Sport Singapore (ActiveSG) public pool at 3 Woodlands Street 13 with a competition pool, a teaching pool and a wading pool. It is closed all day on Thursdays, so classes run on the other six days.

Class sizes and learner matching
Small groups are formed from learners of similar age and level, so beginners work on water confidence and floating together while more confident swimmers work on strokes and distance. We confirm the group size before booking. If a learner is clearly ahead of or behind the group, we suggest a better-matched group or private lessons.
Schedules and availability
Classes are usually booked as a package at a regular weekly time with the same instructor. The pool is open 8:00am to 9:30pm except Thursday, and the competition pool opens from 6:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Availability depends on the time slot, lane space and instructor coverage, so share several possible days and times.
Progression and SwimSafer preparation
The instructor gives feedback on what the learner worked on and what comes next. Children can work towards SwimSafer stages in either format; SwimSafer assessment and certification are arranged separately and are not included unless your booking says so.
Practical arrangements
