Aurea Swimming Lessons
Aurea is the 188-home residential component of the conserved Golden Mile redevelopment at 802 Beach Road in Singapore's District 7. The official project website describes residential recreation across three landscaped levels and states expected vacant possession on 31 March 2030.
The development is under construction, so this is a future-planning guide rather than a claim that on-site lessons can begin now. Buyers and future residents may record interest for children, adults, beginners, ladies or stroke-improvement swimmers, subject to completion and later management approval.
Quick answer
Aurea's official facilities page identifies Grand Infinity and Kids' Splash on Level 3, plus Sky Infinity, Water Jets and Sky Spa on Level 33. A developer media release also refers to infinity pools on Levels 3 and 33.
These sources establish multiple planned water facilities but do not publish teaching lengths, depths, lane markings or external-coaching rules. “Infinity†describes an edge treatment or visual effect; it does not prove a standard lap course or exclusive lesson space.
Choosing the right future water area
Grand Infinity on Level 3
The Level 3 resort deck includes Grand Infinity, Infinity Lounge, Kids' Splash, Spa Cove, changing areas and an outdoor shower. Once completed, the main pool may be the first area considered for lessons, but its usable route and depth must be inspected.
Nearby leisure facilities can increase shared activity. An instructor should position lessons away from spa use, entry points and social areas, yield to residents and keep teaching equipment compact.
Kids' Splash is not automatically a teaching pool
The official name confirms a planned children's water feature, not its depth, water circulation, permitted activities or suitability for structured instruction. A splash area may be designed for play rather than stroke practice.
Parents and coaches should inspect boundaries, surfaces, entries, exits and sightlines after handover. Beginners may need the main pool or another venue if the children's area is too shallow, busy or restricted.
Sky Infinity on Level 33
The elevated Sky Infinity sits with a sky spa, water jets, viewing and fitness facilities. Height, wind and an infinity edge can change a learner's comfort even when the completed barrier is compliant.
Before using an elevated pool, the coach should check access routes, glare, wind, edge perception, depth signs and emergency procedures. Nervous beginners or young children may be better suited to the Level 3 pool if management permits and the physical assessment supports it.
Mixed-use access must be verified
Aurea is linked to The Golden Mile, but residential facilities should not be treated as unrestricted public or commercial space. The hosting resident must confirm the correct entrance, visitor registration, lift access and whether an external instructor may teach.
Management may require advance registration, proof of identity, insurance or resident accompaniment. It may also limit coaching hours, group size and equipment. SwimmingClasses.sg cannot override access controls or guarantee that both pool levels will be available.
No lesson can start before completion and resident handover. A sales appointment or unit purchase does not grant access to the construction site or future pools.
Kids swimming lessons at Aurea
Young beginners may work on safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, assisted floating, kicking and returning to an accessible edge. The selected pool must provide a safe teaching zone based on the child's height and confidence.
School-age learners may progress to coordinated freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, breathing and safe recovery. Distance work should use the completed clear route; no 25m or 50m dimension is claimed.
Parents should remain reachable and disclose relevant medical, sensory or communication needs. Active supervision continues before and after the formal lesson, including around lifts, decks, spas and water features.
Adult beginner and technique lessons
Adult beginners can learn exhalation, balance, floating, recovery to standing and short relaxed movements at an individual pace. A coach may use a pool edge for confidence before moving into open water space.
Experienced swimmers may work on alignment, catch, breathing rhythm, turns and repeat efforts. Plans should fit the observed pool geometry and resident traffic rather than use an assumed course length.
The elevated Sky Infinity may appeal to confident swimmers, but a visually exposed edge or stronger wind can be distracting. Venue choice should follow learner comfort and the coach's safety assessment.
Ladies and female-instructor requests
Learners may request a female swimming instructor for privacy, cultural preference, comfort or safeguarding reasons. Availability depends on timing, District 7 coverage, management approval and coach scheduling.
A female-coach request does not make the shared pool women-only. Residents may use and overlook both recreational levels, so expectations should be discussed before booking.
Private and small-group formats
Private lessons support close observation and flexible progression. They may suit nervous adults, young beginners or swimmers correcting a specific skill.
Small groups can work for siblings, couples or resident neighbours with similar ability. The instructor must keep a clear view of every participant and follow future participant limits.
The presence of several pools does not authorise a commercial class programme. No coach may reserve water space, exclude residents or shift a lesson between levels without permission.
Scheduling and high-rise weather
Outdoor pools can be affected by lightning, heavy rain, heat and glare. The Level 33 facility may also experience stronger wind. Lessons must stop when official alerts, estate announcements or visible conditions make swimming unsafe.
Future residents should observe actual use before choosing a weekly slot. Weekends, evenings and school holidays may be busy, while maintenance or private events may close a deck.
Written booking terms should cover weather calls, notice periods, credits, make-ups, access failures and expiry. A backup time is useful, but a second pool level should not be treated as an automatic substitute.
