Cubik Swimming Lessons

Residents may enquire about Cubik swimming lessons at 81 Lorong K Telok Kurau in District 15. Multiple exact-development sources identify a communal swimming pool at this freehold apartment project, but the reviewed records do not establish the pool's dimensions, depth profile, lesson-access rules or current operating condition.

Kids, adults, ladies and compatible small groups may be considered after management approval and an on-site assessment. This guide does not promise external-coach entry or exclusive teaching space.

Verified development identity

The URA-derived inventory records 24 dwellings at postcode 425711. Current 99.co, SRX, EdgeProp and PropertyMart records map that postcode to Cubik at 81 Lorong K Telok Kurau. PropertyGuru and other records also use 79 Lorong K Telok Kurau, postcode 425708, for units in the same 24-unit project.

Sources describe a 24-unit freehold development completed in 2011 and attributed to EG Development Pte Ltd. The page names both project addresses so residents can provide the block and access route when enquiring.

This page covers only Cubik at 79 and 81 Lorong K Telok Kurau. It does not transfer facilities from K Suites, another Telok Kurau development or an unrelated overseas Cubik namesake.

Communal swimming-pool evidence

PropertyGuru's 2010 launch report identifies a swimming pool among Cubik's planned facilities. The current PropertyGuru project page, Estate.sg and BuyCondo.sg separately list a swimming pool for the completed exact project. They agree on the project identity, 24 units, freehold tenure, developer and 2011 completion.

No reviewed exact-project source establishes a separate children's pool, wading pool, spa pool or jacuzzi, so none is claimed. One PropertyGuru listing labels a “private swimming pool”, but unit-listing language does not establish whether that description concerns common property, a penthouse feature or another configuration. It is not used as evidence of a second pool.

No reviewed original site plan or management notice establishes length, width, depth changes, lane markings, opening hours or present maintenance status. The sources also do not prove that external coaching, group lessons or reserved teaching space are allowed.

The evidence supports only the presence of a communal swimming pool. Before lessons begin, the instructor must verify the approved teaching area, usable depths, entries, exits, sightlines, recovery points and shared-use conditions in person.

Management approval and access

Cubik is private residential property. A pool shown in a property database does not automatically allow an external instructor, visitor entry, commercial activity, a small group or exclusive use of any water area.

Before booking, ask the management office or managing agent for the current rule covering the named instructor. Confirm whether a resident must accompany the visitor and whether identification, qualifications, insurance, registration or advance notice are required.

Also check teaching hours, participant limits, equipment and photography. Current management instructions override this page; SwimmingClasses.sg cannot grant access or reserve the pool.

First-session pool assessment

Before recurring lessons, the instructor should inspect:

  • the exact water area approved for coaching;
  • measured usable length, width and depth changes;
  • steps, ledges, drains, jets and underwater features;
  • safe entries, exits and reachable recovery points;
  • water clarity, lighting and deck grip;
  • sightlines across the proposed teaching area;
  • resident circulation and other pool users;
  • lightning shelter and emergency procedures; and
  • rules for kickboards, floats, fins and other teaching aids.

A portal facility label cannot replace an on-site assessment. If continuous supervision is not possible, the instructor should adapt the lesson, reduce the group or recommend another venue.

Kids swimming lessons

Children can begin with safe entry, controlled breathing, floating, recovery, short propulsion and age-appropriate water-safety responses. Teaching should follow demonstrated ability rather than age alone.

A responsible adult should remain reachable. Use a shallow position only after management approves the activity and an instructor checks its present depth, edges, visibility and recovery route. No separate children's or wading pool is assumed.

Children may practise suitable SwimSafer-related fundamentals, but a lesson in a private condominium pool is not automatically an official SwimSafer programme, assessment or certification session.

Adult beginner and technique lessons

Adults may start without previous swimming experience. Early sessions can cover controlled exhalation, balance, floating, recovery and short movement beside an assessed recovery point.

Water-confident adults may work on alignment, breathing, propulsion and stroke efficiency within the pool's verified usable space. A public pool may be more suitable for goals requiring measured lanes, uninterrupted distance or a formal assessment.

Disclose relevant medical or mobility considerations before the first session so supervision can be adjusted.

Ladies and female-instructor requests

Ladies may request a female swimming instructor. Matching depends on coach availability, schedule and approved access to Cubik.

The pool remains a shared residential facility and may be visible from homes or common areas. A female coach does not make the facility women-only, reserve the pool or guarantee privacy.

Private and small-group formats

One-to-one coaching offers focused feedback and pacing. “Private” describes the teaching format, not exclusive use of the condominium pool.

A small group may suit authorised residents with similar abilities. Management must permit it, and continuous supervision must remain possible.

Scheduling, weather and interruptions

Schedules depend on facility hours, maintenance, resident use, instructor availability and approved entry. Share the visitor route and access procedure for 81 Lorong K Telok Kurau before the first visit.

Outdoor lessons must stop during lightning warnings and unsafe conditions. Agree in advance how lightning, heavy rain, maintenance, poor water quality, crowding or failed access affects credits and make-up lessons.

Fees and realistic progress

Fees vary with duration, format, participant count, instructor match, travel and access. No Cubik-specific rate is invented. Review the swimming lesson fees and rates and request a quotation.

Progress depends on ability, comfort, attendance, practice and pool conditions. No fixed lesson count or result is guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cubik have a swimming pool?

Yes. PropertyGuru's launch report and current project page, Estate.sg and BuyCondo.sg identify a swimming pool for Cubik. Its current condition, dimensions and availability for lessons still require direct confirmation.

Is there a separate children's or wading pool?

No such claim is made. The reviewed exact-project sources establish the communal swimming pool but not a separate children's, wading, spa or jacuzzi facility.

Does the pool have verified lap dimensions?

No. No reviewed exact-project source establishes a measured length, width, depth profile or marked lanes. The instructor should inspect and measure the approved teaching area.

Is the pool open to the public?

No. It is a private residential facility. External coaching and visitor entry require current management approval and an authorised resident host where applicable.

How many homes are at Cubik?

The URA-derived inventory and current exact-project databases consistently record 24 units. Current records use 79 and 81 Lorong K Telok Kurau for the project.

Can an external instructor enter?

Only when current management and security procedures permit the named coach. Obtain approval before paying or arranging a start date.
