Domain 21 Swimming Lessons

Residents may enquire about Domain 21 swimming lessons at 21 and 23 Delta Road, Singapore 169813 and 169814. Current exact-project sources identify communal swimming and wading pools, but do not establish current measurements, depths or permission for external coaching.

Kids, adults, ladies and compatible small groups may be considered after management approval and an on-site assessment. This guide does not promise instructor entry, exclusive water space or uninterrupted lap use.

Verified development identity

The URA-derived inventory records 141 dwellings across postcodes 169813 and 169814. 99.co and SRX identify Domain 21 as a two-block, 141-unit condominium at 21 and 23 Delta Road, completed in 2007 on a 99-year lease from 2004.

Both sources attribute the project to Valley Development Pte Ltd, with 99.co also associating the developer with Kheng Leong. Current transactions at both street numbers support the same completed and occupied project identity.

The development name must not be confused with District 21, other properties using the word “Domain”, or the nearby Delta Sport Centre. Public-pool facilities at the sports centre are not evidence about Domain 21's private estate pool.

Communal swimming-pool evidence

99.co's current exact-project page lists a swimming pool and wading pool at Domain 21. SRX independently lists both facilities, while current PropertyGuru project material likewise describes a swimming pool and wading pool at the exact development.

99.co also uses “fun pool” and “infinity pool” labels. These names do not establish a specific depth, edge configuration or teaching suitability. The instructor must identify which water area management approves and inspect its actual boundaries.

The wading pool is not automatically suitable for lessons. Its current depth, circulation, user rules and supervision conditions must be checked before any beginner activity.

No reviewed source verifies current lengths, widths, depth profiles, lane markings, opening hours, water quality or maintenance condition. This page makes no 25-metre, 50-metre, Olympic-size, certified-depth or reserved-lane claim.

Management approval and instructor access

Domain 21 is private residential property. Evidence that communal pools exist does not grant an external instructor entry or permission to conduct paid coaching.

Before booking, the hosting resident should ask the management office or managing agent whether the named coach, participant count, lesson format, chosen water area and proposed time are allowed. Confirm visitor registration, identification, resident accompaniment, qualifications, insurance, indemnity and advance-notice requirements.

Ask about teaching aids, photography, poolside waiting, noise and small-group restrictions. Current by-laws, notices and security instructions override portal descriptions, prior access and this guide.

First-session pool assessment

Before recurring lessons, the instructor should inspect:

  • the exact swimming or wading-pool area approved for coaching;
  • measured usable length, width and depth changes;
  • edge design, overflow channels and any infinity-edge separation;
  • steps, ladders, ledges, drains and underwater features;
  • reachable walls and other recovery points;
  • water clarity, lighting, glare and deck grip;
  • sightlines, barriers and resident circulation;
  • lightning shelter and emergency procedures; and
  • rules for floats, kickboards, fins and other aids.

Facility names cannot replace current inspection. If the approved water area cannot support continuous supervision, the instructor should shorten drills, reduce the group or recommend another venue.

Kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may work on safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, supported balance, floating, kicking and returning to a reachable wall. The chosen area must suit the child's height, confidence, communication needs and recovery ability.

School-age learners may progress to streamlining, coordinated breathing, stroke foundations, treading water and self-rescue habits. Practice distances should follow on-site measurements rather than assumptions from “infinity” or “fun pool” labels.

The wading pool's existence does not make it automatically appropriate for every child or skill. A responsible adult should remain reachable, and children outside the lesson still require active supervision.

Adult beginner and technique lessons

Adults may begin without previous swimming experience. Early sessions can cover controlled exhalation, balance, floating, recovery to standing and short movement near an assessed wall.

Water-confident adults may work on body position, breathing rhythm, propulsion, stroke efficiency and pacing within the measured usable space. A public pool may be preferable for uninterrupted endurance sets or goals requiring certified or consistently marked distances.

Relevant medical, sensory or mobility considerations should be disclosed before the first session.

Ladies and female-instructor requests

Ladies may request a female swimming instructor for comfort, privacy or cultural preference. Matching depends on coach availability, schedule, Delta Road coverage and successful estate access.

The pool area remains communal and may be visible from apartments or shared spaces. A female instructor does not make the setting women-only, reserve the pool or guarantee privacy.

Private and small-group formats

One-to-one coaching provides focused feedback and flexible pacing. “Private” describes the teaching format, not exclusive use of a communal pool.

A small group may suit siblings, couples or neighbours with compatible ability and goals. Management must permit the format, and the instructor must supervise every participant continuously without obstructing residents.

Scheduling, weather and interruptions

Weekday or weekend requests depend on facility hours, maintenance, resident use, instructor availability and approved entry. Share the correct block, entrance and visitor procedure before the instructor travels.

Outdoor lessons must stop during lightning warnings and unsafe weather. Agree how lightning, heavy rain, poor water quality, maintenance, crowding, pool closure or failed access affects credits and make-up lessons.

Fees and realistic progress

Fees vary with duration, format, participant count, instructor match, travel and access. No Domain 21-specific price is invented. Review the swimming lesson fees and rates and request a written quotation.

Progress depends on starting ability, attendance, practice and pool conditions. No fixed lesson count, stroke outcome or water-safety result is guaranteed.

Water safety and SwimSafer

Condo lessons may build confidence, floating, recovery, strokes and water-safety habits. Domain 21 is not presented as an official SwimSafer assessment venue without separate confirmation of the programme, instructor and assessment location.

Lessons do not remove drowning risk. Children and weak swimmers need continuing supervision outside coached sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Does Domain 21 have a swimming pool?

Yes. 99.co, SRX and PropertyGuru exact-project material identify communal swimming-pool facilities. Present condition and coaching access still require confirmation.

Does Domain 21 have a wading pool?

Exact-project sources list one. Its current depth and suitability for a learner must be inspected; its name is not a safety guarantee.

Is the infinity pool a verified lap length?

No. “Infinity pool” is a facility label, not a measurement. No reviewed source establishes a 25-metre, 50-metre or Olympic-size pool.

Can lessons take place at Delta Sport Centre instead?

That is a separate public facility with its own booking, admission and coaching rules. This page concerns the private pools at Domain 21 only.

Which block should residents provide?

Domain 21 includes 21 and 23 Delta Road. Share the correct block, visitor entrance and access instructions before the instructor travels.

Can an external instructor enter automatically?

No. The hosting resident must confirm current management and security requirements for the named coach before booking.
