Jade Residences Swimming Lessons

Jade Residences swimming lessons can give residents a convenient way to learn at their Lew Lian Vale condominium, subject to current management approval. Roxy-Pacific's official project material verifies a 50m communal swimming pool at this completed freehold development, making it a useful potential setting for private and carefully sized small-group classes.

This guide covers kids, adults, ladies-only learners and private coaching. It does not guarantee external-coach access or reserved space. Confirm current management rules before payment.

Development and pool facts

The URA-derived inventory records 171 dwellings at four residential postcodes: 537016, 537018, 537019 and 537020. Roxy-Pacific describes 171 residential units across four five-storey blocks. Its project address material also lists 3 Lew Lian Vale, postcode 537017, as the club, management-office and two-shop location. A developer table showing 173 total units is therefore understood as 171 residences plus two shops, not 173 homes or a fifth residential block.

Corporate reporting and current records corroborate the 171-home total and 2017 completion. The main residential addresses are 1, 5, 7 and 9 Lew Lian Vale. No residential block allocation is invented because an authoritative per-block unit split was not found.

The official brochure and developer page identify a 50m swimming pool, children's pool, aqua playground and water-jet fountain. The 50m pool is the primary teaching candidate. The children's pool may support limited beginner familiarisation only after an on-site check. The aqua playground and fountain are play or feature water, not substitutes for structured teaching.

Some penthouse units have private pools, while some homes have private jacuzzis. Those are unit-specific facilities and are not treated as communal lesson venues. No reliable communal-pool width, depth or lane count was found, so those measurements are withheld.

Management approval and access

A documented pool does not automatically permit commercial coaching. Ask management whether an external swimming instructor may enter, whether registration or insurance documents are required, which pool zone can be used, and whether lessons face timing or group-size restrictions. Confirm guest entry, changing-room access and any facility charge.

The resident should follow security procedures. SwimmingClasses.sg handles coaching enquiries; it does not manage Jade Residences or control its facilities. The instructor should not be represented as affiliated with Roxy-Pacific, the MCST or managing agent.

First-session assessment

The coach should inspect entry points, depth markers, visibility, circulation, resident traffic, deck space, lighting and emergency access before setting a programme. A verified 50m length does not guarantee uninterrupted space during a lesson.

Beginners may need calm water near a safe recovery point, while advanced swimmers need usable distance for stroke work. The first session may be adapted if weather, crowding or pool conditions make the planned activity unsuitable.

Kids swimming lessons

Kids can start with safe entry and exit, breath control, floating, balance and short independent movement. Preschool learners often respond well to brief activities and consistent routines. Older children can progress towards coordinated strokes, treading water, survival skills and controlled distance.

Parents should remain contactable and follow supervision rules. Progress depends on demonstrated skill rather than age. For SwimSafer preparation, include the child's current stage in the enquiry. Home-pool coaching may prepare relevant abilities but does not guarantee an official assessment or certification.

The children's pool should not automatically be chosen for every young learner. The coach must check its depth, usable area, clarity and resident activity. Some children may learn better in a calm part of the main pool when safe recovery and close supervision are available.

Adult beginner and stroke lessons

Adults may begin with water confidence, breathing, floating, recovery to standing and basic propulsion. Private coaching allows the pace to be adjusted for a nervous beginner. Early goals could include calm face immersion, a stable float or one controlled length rather than speed.

Intermediate swimmers can request freestyle efficiency, breaststroke timing, backstroke alignment, pacing or fitness work. The 50m pool may support longer-distance practice when space is available, but training volume should suit the swimmer's health, ability and surrounding resident use.

Ladies lessons and female instructor requests

Ladies may request a female swimming instructor for comfort, privacy or cultural preference. State this in the enquiry so availability can be checked before scheduling. A request is confirmed only after the instructor, timing and approved access align.

Private and small-group formats

One-to-one lessons provide focused feedback and flexible pacing. They can suit anxious beginners, children needing close attention or swimmers correcting a specific technique. Two compatible learners may share a semi-private class when confidence, ability and goals are reasonably similar.

Small groups must remain manageable. The coach will consider age, independence, listening skills, ability differences and pool traffic before recommending a format. Larger groups may require a separate programme and explicit management approval.

Schedule, weather and frequency

Weekly lessons suit learners. Twice-weekly sessions may help with a holiday goal when fatigue and pool availability are managed. Consistency matters more than an ambitious schedule that cannot be maintained.

Weekday evenings and weekend mornings may be busy. Quieter times can improve communication and reduce conflicts. Lessons must stop for lightning risk and follow facility-closure instructions. Agree bad-weather, cancellation and replacement terms before payment.

Swimming lesson fees

Fees depend on duration, format, learner count, instructor availability, frequency and access requirements. Share each learner's age, ability and goal, preferred timing, instructor preference and management-approval status for an accurate quotation.

Ask what the fee includes, package validity, trial availability and how missed or weather-affected lessons are handled. SwimmingClasses.sg will not invent a Jade Residences-specific rate before the arrangement is understood.

Water safety and progress

No learner is drown-proof. Children still require active adult supervision, and weak swimmers should not practise alone. Follow pool notices, respect depth changes, keep the deck clear and avoid breath-holding contests. Play, fountain, jacuzzi and private-pool water are not substitutes for an approved teaching zone.

Progress varies with confidence, attendance, coordination, practice and health. A responsible instructor assesses the learner before estimating a timeframe. Independent floating, safe recovery and controlled distance are useful measurable milestones.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a 50m pool at Jade Residences?

Yes. Roxy-Pacific's official brochure and project page identify a 50m communal swimming pool. Current depth markings and availability still require on-site confirmation.

Are there 171 or 173 homes?

There are 171 residential units. The larger total on one project table includes two shops at the club and management-office address.

Is the children's pool suitable for lessons?

Possibly for limited familiarisation, after the coach checks its depth, size, conditions and management rules.

Can private penthouse pools be booked?

They are unit-specific facilities, not communal pools. Any use would require the owner's authority and a separate safety assessment; this page does not advertise access to them.

Can an external instructor enter?

Only if current management and security procedures permit it. Obtain approval before confirming or paying for lessons.

Can I request a female instructor?

Yes. Matching depends on instructor availability, schedule and approved access.

Are these official SwimSafer assessments?

Not automatically. Coaching may prepare relevant skills, but official assessment and certification require an authorised arrangement.
