JadeScape Swimming Lessons for Kids and Adults

JadeScape Swimming Lessons

JadeScape is a completed private condominium at 2 to 16 Shunfu Road. CNQC's corporate project page records completion in November 2021. The developer-issued brochure identifies a 50-metre Infinity Pool at the main landscape level and a separate 50-metre Skyline Pool near Blocks 10 and 12, together with a children's pool, aqua gym, Jets Pool and wellness-water features.

This guide helps residents assess which completed shared area may support swimming lessons. It does not promise that management permits external instructors, that a lane can be reserved, or that the full advertised length is continuously available.

Quick answer

The main 50-metre Infinity Pool and the 50-metre Skyline Pool are the first two teaching candidates. Either may support beginner work, stroke development and repeat swimming after actual depth, wall design, access routes and resident traffic are checked.

Infinity-edge geometry needs careful recovery assessment. The Skyline Pool's relationship with elevated decks and adjacent facilities also requires an on-site check. The children's pool, Jets Pool, aqua gym and heated massage features should not be treated as equivalent teaching pools.

What is verified

CNQC identifies JadeScape as a 1,206-unit private condominium and records November 2021 as its completion date. The housing brochure identifies Qingjian Realty (Marymount) Pte Ltd as developer and provides a detailed facility plan.

The main plan distinguishes the 50-metre Infinity Pool from the children's pool and deck. The plan also identifies a separate 50-metre Skyline Pool, aqua-massaging seats, aqua sunbath, aqua gym and Jets Pool. This purpose separation matters because training, play, exercise and relaxation water have different safety and usability considerations.

The evidence does not establish current visitor procedures, coaching permission, depths, lane markings, operating hours or whether either pool is normally quieter. Those facts require current resident and management confirmation.

Choosing between the two 50-metre pools

Before the first lesson, inspect:

  • actual depth along the intended path;
  • conventional walls and dependable recovery points;
  • the Infinity Pool edge and any overflow boundary;
  • steps, ladders, shelves and submerged seating;
  • the straight usable line in each pool;
  • crossings from decks, towers and changing rooms;
  • interaction with aqua-gym, jet and leisure activity;
  • shade, glare, landscaping and water clarity;
  • caregiver waiting space; and
  • lightning, maintenance and closure procedures.

The better pool may vary by learner and time. A beginner may need a short section with a conventional wall, while an independent swimmer may benefit from a longer clear path.

Kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may work on safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, floating, kicking and controlled wall recovery in a suitable section. The chosen area should let the instructor stay close without placing the child near an infinity edge or busy crossing.

School-age learners may progress to freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, breathing coordination and longer repeats. Distance should increase only when the learner maintains technique and responds reliably to safety directions.

The children's pool should not automatically be selected for formal lessons. Shallow water and other children's activity can reduce visibility. Parents remain responsible for supervision before handover and immediately after the lesson.

Adult and ladies swimming lessons

Adult beginners may start with relaxed exhalation, balance, floating, safe recovery and short controlled movement. Private coaching can adapt to anxiety, prior experiences and physical comfort without promising a fixed completion time.

Intermediate adults may use a clear portion of either main pool for alignment, breathing efficiency, turns and repeat swimming. Fitness volume should follow sound technique and actual shared conditions.

A female swimming instructor may be requested for children, adult beginners or ladies lessons. Matching depends on Bishan and Upper Thomson coverage, schedule, management access and instructor availability. The shared pools cannot be represented as women-only.

Private and small-group formats

Private lessons may suit nervous beginners, learners needing close support or swimmers with a specific technical goal. They do not provide exclusive use of the Infinity Pool or Skyline Pool.

Small groups may suit siblings, couples or neighbours with compatible abilities. Group size should reflect visibility, pool traffic and management rules. Learners with very different support needs may require separate arrangements.

No instructor can guarantee a quiet pool or reserved lane.

Infinity-edge and elevated-pool safeguards

An infinity edge may not provide the same visible wall and handhold as a conventional pool edge. The instructor should identify where the learner can recover safely and avoid drills that direct a beginner toward an unsuitable boundary.

For any elevated or upper-level pool, check lift access, wind, glare, emergency movement and caregiver routes. A pool's scenic position does not prove teaching suitability.

Completed signs, barriers and management directions override the marketing plan.

Pool-purpose boundaries

The Jets Pool, aqua-massaging seats, aqua sunbath and heated massage features have relaxation or wellness purposes. Jets, warm water, seating and irregular shapes may interfere with ordinary stroke teaching.

The aqua gym is intended for water-based exercise and may contain features or traffic unsuitable for beginner lessons. The children's pool remains a play setting unless an on-site assessment supports a limited teaching use.

Streams, ponds, waterfalls and other landscape water are not swimming venues.

Private-estate and mixed-use access

JadeScape includes residential units and shops, but retail or public-street access does not provide entry to the private residential pools. The hosting resident should confirm whether external instructors are permitted, how visitors register, which gate and lift to use, whether identification or insurance is required and whether escort is mandatory.

Marymount MRT, Upper Thomson MRT and nearby public amenities do not provide access to the estate's facilities. A coach should never be asked to bypass security or use a commercial entrance as a shortcut.

Previous entry does not prove continuing permission.

Scheduling and weather

Provide several preferred lesson windows. The two main pools may have different traffic patterns, but these should be observed rather than assumed. Weekend and after-school periods may attract more resident activity.

Outdoor lessons are affected by lightning, heavy rain, heat, wind and glare. Lessons should stop whenever site rules or conditions require it.

If the chosen area becomes busy, the instructor may shorten repetitions, use stationary control drills, select the other pool only when permitted and suitable, or reschedule.

Fees and lesson terms

Fees depend on format, duration, participant count, instructor match, travel and estate requirements. This page does not invent a JadeScape-specific price. See fees and rates for the current general framework.

Written terms should cover weather decisions, notice periods, credits, make-ups, access-related cancellations and package expiry. Two advertised 50-metre pools do not guarantee uninterrupted training space.

SwimSafer and safety goals

Condo lessons may build breathing control, floating, safe entry, rotation, wall recovery and sustained movement. Share any SwimSafer stage or assessment goal during enquiry.

Practice at JadeScape does not itself issue a SwimSafer certificate. Formal programme eligibility, assessment arrangements and assessor requirements must be confirmed separately.

Frequently asked questions

Is JadeScape completed?

Yes. CNQC's corporate project page records completion in November 2021.

Does JadeScape have two 50-metre pools?

The developer brochure labels a 50-metre Infinity Pool and a separate 50-metre Skyline Pool. Completed usability and access still require on-site verification.

Which pool is best for a beginner?

The one with suitable depth, conventional recovery points, clear visibility and lower traffic at the lesson time. An on-site assessment is required.

Can the children's pool be used?

It should not be assumed suitable. Its play purpose and actual conditions require a separate assessment.

Can I request a female instructor?

Yes, subject to coverage, access, schedule and availability.

Is a lane guaranteed?

No. Both main pools remain shared residential facilities unless management expressly establishes another arrangement.

Sources and review note

Property facts were reviewed on 26 August 2026 using CNQC's corporate JadeScape project page and the developer-issued housing brochure. The brochure establishes facility names and planned dimensions; current management rules and completed teaching conditions require resident verification.
