Lakeville Swimming Lessons

Lakeville is a completed condominium at Jurong Lake Link with 696 apartments and three shop units. Sunway MCL's first-party record confirms six residential blocks and TOP in February 2017, while URA-derived data supports the 696-home identity.
Residents may enquire about kids, adult, ladies, beginner, private or compatible small-group swimming lessons. A preserved original brochure names a 50-metre lap pool, but current management approval and an on-site assessment remain essential.
Quick answer
Swimming lessons may be feasible when Lakeville management permits the named instructor and a resident arranges authorised entry. The lap-pool route is the first teaching candidate after an instructor verifies its present usable distance, depths, boundaries, exits and resident circulation.
No lane, quiet period or exclusive section is promised. Little-splash, aqua-gym, spa-cove, dip-pool, fountain, reflective, feature, decorative, lake and private water are excluded by default.
696 apartments, three shops and 699 strata lots
Sunway MCL states that Lakeville comprises 696 apartments and three shop units. Current BCA-derived MCST records show 699 strata lots. These figures are compatible but describe different things.
This page therefore uses 696 homes, not 699 homes. The additional strata lots should not be converted into residential units or potential learners.
Residents should provide their exact block, authorised visitor entrance, security procedure and internal meeting point.
Six residential addresses and a seventh current address
The older URA-derived row contains six residential postal records. Current management records identify addresses at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 Jurong Lake Link, with the management office at 13 Jurong Lake Link.
The seventh address is consistent with the management-office and shop component. This page preserves the residential-versus-current-address distinction instead of silently changing the URA row.
The management-office address may not be the visitor entrance. Use directions supplied through the resident and estate channel.
What the original brochure supports
The preserved MCL Land brochure identifies a 50m lap pool and separately labels little splash pool, aqua gym, spa coves, starlight dip pool, fountain jets and reflective water feature. Engineering-project records independently describe a swimming pool among Lakeville's communal facilities.
This is strong historical evidence of the planned main pool and the distinct non-main water features. It is not a present measurement, facility inspection or coaching policy.
The instructor should verify the straight usable route; steps, ledges, ropes, swimmers or maintenance boundaries may shorten it.
Lakeville is not Lake Grande
Lakeville and Lake Grande are neighbouring but separate developments. Lakeville uses MCST Plan 4556 and has 696 apartments plus three shops; Lake Grande has its own addresses, management corporation and facility evidence.
Do not use a Lake Grande entrance, resident invitation, brochure, rule or pool description for a Lakeville lesson. The enquiry must identify Lakeville and the resident's exact Jurong Lake Link address.
MCST and management approval
Current BCA-derived records identify active MCST Plan 4556. Verify current by-laws, pool notices and visitor procedures through the estate's official channel.
Ask whether the named instructor, paid coaching and proposed format are allowed. Confirm identification, accompaniment, qualifications, insurance, participant limits, approved hours, equipment and photography.
Payment does not reserve water space or override management decisions. If approval is unavailable, choose another authorised venue.
First-session assessment
Before recurring lessons, verify:
- approval for the named instructor and arrangement;
- exact block, entrance and internal route;
- the correct lap pool and permitted teaching section;
- present usable distance, depths and transitions;
- starting and turning walls or clear boundaries;
- lane markings, obstructions and resident circulation;
- steps, ladders, ledges and dependable recovery points;
- separation from splash, spa, dip and feature water;
- deck grip, drainage, glare and water clarity;
- current cleaning, closure and maintenance notices;
- lightning shelter and evacuation route; and
- emergency contacts and supervision requirements.
Stop or adapt when weather, crowding, poor visibility, water condition or management instructions make the activity unsafe. Historical plans are not a current safety inspection.
Keep lessons in the verified lap-pool route
The brochure's many aquatic labels help establish boundaries. Little splash pool, aqua gym, spa coves and starlight dip pool are leisure or specialised areas, not default lesson spaces.
Fountain jets and reflective water features are decorative or interactive water. Jurong Lake is also not part of the condominium teaching facility. None should be used for instruction, waiting, overflow practice or sibling play.
If the lap-pool route is unavailable or cannot provide safe separation from other users, pause, reschedule or use another authorised venue.
Kids swimming lessons
Young beginners may practise safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, supported floating, kicking and returning to a reachable wall. The selected section must suit the child's height, confidence, communication needs and recovery ability.
Early practice should use a short visible route near a dependable exit in a verified depth. A splash or dip pool is not automatically safer and remains excluded.
School-age learners may progress through freestyle and backstroke coordination, breaststroke timing, treading water and practical self-rescue. Confident swimmers can use measured repeats and turns when the route remains clear.
Parents should disclose medical, sensory, behavioural or learning needs and supervise siblings who are not participating.
Adult beginner and stroke coaching
Adult beginners can start with calm exhalation, balance, floating, standing recovery and short independent movement near a reliable exit. Nervous learners may repeat small stages before increasing distance or depth.
Water-confident adults may refine alignment, catch, rotation, breathing rhythm, breaststroke timing, turns, pacing and fitness. The historically named 50m pool may support longer repeats, but programmes must use the route verified that day.
Tell the instructor about injuries, mobility restrictions, exercise limits, medical advice and water anxiety before entering the water.
Ladies and female-instructor requests
Ladies may request a female instructor for comfort, privacy, cultural preference or safeguarding. Matching depends on instructor availability, Jurong coverage, timing and management approval.
The pool remains shared. A female coach does not create a women-only session, reserve a lane or guarantee visual privacy. Swimwear and equipment must follow current estate rules while allowing safe movement.
Private and compatible small groups
One-to-one lessons provide focused feedback and flexible pacing. “Private” describes the coaching format; it does not make the pool or lane private.
Small groups may suit compatible siblings, couples or neighbours with similar confidence, goals and safe working depths. Large ability gaps can complicate supervision.
Everyone should remain in one visible, approved lap-pool zone. Excluded aquatic features must not be used for waiting or overflow.
Scheduling and fees
Residents can propose weekday or weekend times after checking pool hours, cleaning, maintenance and normal demand. Lakeville's 696-home scale makes shared-space planning important, but unit count does not prove that a particular time will be crowded.
No recurring slot or quiet period is guaranteed. Singapore lightning and heavy rain require prompt suspension. Written terms should cover weather, maintenance, denied entry and closure.
Fees depend on duration, format, participant count, instructor match, travel and access requirements. No Lakeville-specific price is invented. Review the fees and rates guide and request a written quotation after access appears feasible.
Lessons may support SwimSafer preparation, but Lakeville is not represented as an assessment or certification venue.

Sources and review note
Facts were reviewed on 28 August 2026 using URA-derived data, Sunway MCL's Lakeville record, the original MCL Land brochure, engineering evidence and BCA-derived MCST data. These support 696 apartments, three shops, six residential blocks, February 2017 TOP, MCST Plan 4556 and a historically named 50m lap pool. Current dimensions, condition, hours, visitor rules and paid-coach access require verification.
