Lentor Gardens Residences is an uncompleted private development at Lentor Gardens in District 26. URA lists it among uncompleted projects with development approval. Published project particulars identify Kingsford Lentor Project Pte Ltd and state expected vacant possession in 2030.

The facility schedule includes a 50-metre lap pool and a separate 75-metre Skyline Hydro Jet Pool, along with lagoons, therapy beds, massage features and a splash cove. This guide is for future planning only: none of the pools is operational.

Quick answer

The planned 50m lap pool is the clearest candidate for structured lessons. The 75m Skyline Hydro Jet Pool has a longer advertised water footprint, but its hydro jets, possible infinity-edge treatment and leisure geometry mean it must not be described as a conventional 75m training lane.

Both settings require post-handover depth, wall, visibility and traffic checks.

Evidence and limits

URA establishes uncompleted, approved status. Current project particulars and facility material establish the project entity, development form and aquatic schedule.

The sources do not prove actual TOP, pool opening, completed depths, lane markings, water clarity, operating hours, visitor rules or paid-coach permission. Artist impressions and launch material cannot replace inspection.

Comparing the two long pools

The 50m lap pool is purpose-labelled for swimming and likely to provide the more predictable path. The 75m setting may include hydro jets, curves, ledges or wellness activity that interrupts a straight line.

After handover, compare:

• actual depths and transitions;
• uninterrupted swimming width and length;
• stable walls and reachable recovery points;
• hydro jets, infinity edges, ledges and steps;
• currents and turbulence near therapy features;
• sightlines around decks, terraces and houses;
• recreational crossings and family traffic; and
• lightning, maintenance and closure procedures.

Neither number guarantees a reserved lane.

Future kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may practise entry, breathing, floating, kicking and wall recovery after the completed depth is matched to their height and confidence. Splash Cove, wading or lagoon settings should not be chosen automatically if play features and irregular geometry reduce control.

Independent children may progress to freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and breathing coordination in the lap pool. Hydro jets should be avoided where they interfere with balance, sound cues or technique.

Parents remain responsible for direct handover and supervision outside lesson time.

Future adult and ladies lessons

Adult beginners may work on breathing, buoyancy, balance and short swims in an assessed section. Learners anxious about being unable to stand should mention this during enquiry.

Intermediate adults may use the completed lap pool for alignment, turns and repeats. A female instructor may be requested, subject to future Lentor coverage, access, schedule and availability. A women-only environment cannot be guaranteed.

Private and small-group formats

Private lessons may suit anxious beginners or focused correction. Small groups may suit household members or neighbours with compatible abilities.

Group size must reflect actual depth, sightlines, currents, traffic and estate rules. An extensive water landscape does not create exclusive teaching space.

Strata terrace, shops and childcare boundaries

The project includes apartments, strata terrace houses, shops and an early-childhood centre. Shop customers and childcare users should not be assumed to have access to residential pools.

After handover, the hosting resident should confirm visitor registration, identification, escort requirements, approved entrances and whether paid external coaching is permitted. A terrace-house location beside a pool does not provide private ownership of the shared water area.

Childcare attendance does not create swimming supervision or learner handover authority. Caregivers should arrange direct pool-deck handover.

Park and reservoir boundaries

Nearby Hillock Park, green links and reservoirs are separate public environments. They do not grant estate access and are not ordinary substitutes for a managed swimming pool.

Reservoir edges, park water features and landscape lagoons have different safety controls and are not learner practice areas. Only an operational residential pool approved for the visit should be used.

The instructor should use the approved residential entrance rather than assuming a park-facing side gate is available.

Timing, weather and first session

An expected year is not actual TOP, resident handover or pool opening. Do not purchase a project-specific package until lawful access begins, rules are known and the completed pool is assessed.

Outdoor pools may close for lightning, heavy rain, glare or maintenance. The first session should confirm meeting point, selected pool, depth, recovery wall, jet locations, deck notices, changing facilities and emergency procedures.
