Peak Residence Swimming Lessons for Kids and Adults

Peak Residence Swimming Lessons

Peak Residence is a completed freehold condominium at 333–337 Thomson Road in District 11. URA records completion in the fourth quarter of 2024 under TSRC Novena Pte Ltd, while current project material identifies 90 residences across three low-rise blocks.

The original brochure places a 33m Lap Pool, Kids' Pool and Jacuzzi Pool at the rooftop facilities. A Bubbler Pool sits at ground level, while arrival water, a Water Axis and Reflecting Pool are separately labelled landscape features.

Quick answer

Residents may enquire about private or compatible small-group lessons for children, adults, ladies, beginners and swimmers seeking stroke improvement. The rooftop 33m Lap Pool is the clearest setting for conventional instruction, subject to management permission, resident access and an on-site assessment.

The Kids' Pool may support selected beginner activities after its depth is checked. The Jacuzzi, Bubbler Pool and decorative ground-floor water should not automatically substitute for the lap pool.

Understanding the aquatic facilities

33m Lap Pool

The original brochure expressly labels a 33m Lap Pool on the rooftop facilities plan. It may support water confidence, breathing, stroke development, turns and measured fitness repeats when an approved clear section is available.

The stated length does not establish competition certification, lane markings, starting blocks, uniform depth or exclusive training space. An instructor should inspect depth signs, entries, exits, resting points and the completed clear route.

Kids' Pool

The Kids' Pool is identified separately from the lap pool. It may suit bubbles, face immersion, supported floating or short beginner movements if its depth matches the child's height and confidence.

Its name does not prove that it is shallow throughout or suitable for every child. Active supervision and current depth signs remain essential.

Jacuzzi Pool

The Jacuzzi Pool may contain jets, seating, warmer water or steps. Those features can interfere with balance, breathing and communication.

It should not be promoted for ordinary learn-to-swim, stroke or fitness sessions. Any specialist therapeutic activity requires appropriate professional scope and specific permission.

Bubbler Pool and landscape water

The ground-floor Bubbler Pool is separately labelled and may be a shallow leisure or sensory feature. Its completed function and depth must be checked before any limited activity is considered.

The Arrival Water Feature, Entrance Water Feature, Water Axis and Reflecting Pool are landscape elements rather than verified swimming facilities. Learners should not enter them.

Lesson options

Kids swimming lessons

Children can develop safe entry and exit, bubbles, breath control, floating, kicking, recovery skills and age-appropriate stroke foundations. The coach should select the Kids' or Lap Pool according to the child's height, confidence and ability.

Parents should disclose relevant medical, sensory or communication needs before the first session. Progress varies, so no fixed lesson count should be guaranteed.

Moving from ground level to the rooftop should not be part of a lesson unless the route and supervision plan are clear.

Adult beginner lessons

Adult beginners may work gradually on breathing, balance, floating, recovery to standing, propulsion and coordinated movements. Private coaching can provide individual pacing and focused feedback.

Tell the instructor about injuries, exercise restrictions or difficult water experiences. If the completed lap-pool depth or layout is unsuitable, another venue may be safer than a kids', jacuzzi or bubbler setting.

Ladies swimming lessons

Learners may request a female swimming instructor for comfort, privacy, cultural preference or safeguarding considerations. Assignment depends on timing, estate access, location coverage and coach availability.

The rooftop remains a shared residential facility. A female-coach request does not create a private or women-only environment.

Stroke correction and fitness

Water-confident swimmers may work on freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, body position, breathing, turns, pacing and efficiency. The stated 33m length can support structured repeats after the coach verifies the completed route.

Other residents retain equal access. Drills should be adjusted if steps, leisure users or pool configuration interrupt the course, and the pool should not be represented as competition-standard.

Private and small-group formats

Private lessons provide focused feedback and flexible progression. Small groups may suit residents with similar ability, goals and water confidence.

Group size must follow estate rules and preserve safe sightlines. Large mixed-level groups may obstruct residents or become difficult to supervise between the Kids' and Lap Pools.

Resident and management checks

Before paying for recurring lessons, ask the managing agent or MCST:

  • whether external swimming instructors are currently permitted;
  • whether identification, registration or insurance documents are required;
  • whether a resident must register, escort or remain with the coach;
  • which rooftop pool and hours may be used for instruction;
  • whether floats, kickboards or other teaching aids are allowed;
  • whether booking or a facility fee applies; and
  • how closures, complaints and crowded conditions are handled.

Written confirmation is preferable where policy is unclear. SwimmingClasses.sg and an assigned coach cannot override security procedures or estate by-laws.

Rooftop access and supervision

Confirm the route from the correct residential entrance and lift to the shared rooftop facilities over Blocks 333, 335 and 337. Residents should identify their block when enquiring.

Children must remain supervised around the poolside lounge, decks, pavilion, clubhouse, changing area and party lawn. Teaching equipment should remain clear of circulation and emergency routes.

Scheduling and shared-pool etiquette

Observe the rooftop pool at the proposed lesson time before selecting a weekly slot. Evenings, weekends and school holidays may be busy, but actual use should be checked rather than assumed.

The instructor should occupy only the space needed, keep equipment tidy and preserve access to entries and decks. A session may need to pause, relocate or end if conditions become unsafe or disruptive.

Weather and safety

Rooftop facilities may be exposed to lightning, rain, wind, glare and heat. Lessons must stop during lightning warnings or whenever visibility, deck grip or water conditions become unsafe.

Everyone should leave the water promptly and follow on-site announcements. Maintenance, water treatment, contamination or resident events may close a pool. Agree on cancellation and rescheduling terms before payment.

Fees and booking expectations

Fees vary with private or group format, duration, learner level, frequency, instructor experience and travel requirements. Request a current quotation explaining package validity, payment timing, cancellations and any assessment charge.

Confirm management approval before purchasing multiple lessons. A completed estate with a 33m pool does not automatically provide an authorised coaching slot.

SwimSafer preparation

Families interested in SwimSafer may ask whether the instructor offers programme-aligned preparation and where formal assessment takes place. Peak Residence should not be described as an official SwimSafer assessment venue unless independently verified.

Frequently asked questions

Does Peak Residence have a 33m pool?

Yes. The original brochure labels a 33m Lap Pool at the rooftop facilities.

Is there a pool for children?

Yes. A Kids' Pool is separately identified, but its completed depth and suitability for a particular child must be checked.

Can lessons use the Jacuzzi Pool?

It should not be the default teaching area. Jets, seating and leisure use may interfere with conventional swimming instruction.

Is the ground-floor Bubbler Pool suitable for lessons?

Its function and depth are not established for conventional instruction. It should not replace the rooftop lap pool without assessment and permission.

Can a non-resident instructor enter?

Only if current visitor and facility policies permit. A resident may need to register, escort or accompany the instructor.

Can I request a female instructor?

Yes, subject to availability, timing, access approval and location coverage.

Evidence and review note

Completion and developer identity were reviewed against URA's 4Q 2024 completion annex. The 90-residence count, rooftop 33m Lap Pool, Kids' Pool and Jacuzzi Pool, ground-floor Bubbler Pool and separate landscape-water features were reviewed against the original Peak Residence brochure and current project site on 26 August 2026. Current coaching permission, completed depths, lifeguard coverage, exclusive lesson space and competition certification are not established.
