Stirling Residences Swimming Lessons for Kids and Adults

Stirling Residences Swimming Lessons

Stirling Residences is a completed private condominium at 21, 23 and 25 Stirling Road. Logan Group's 2022 annual report records Stirling Residences as completed in the fourth quarter of 2022. The developer-issued project brochure identifies a 50-metre lap pool at the main landscape level, a children's pool and water-play area, and a separate 30-metre pool on the roof of 21 Stirling Road.

This guide helps residents evaluate those completed shared facilities for swimming lessons. It does not promise that management permits paid external instructors, that a pool can be reserved, or that every advertised water area is suitable for teaching.

Quick answer

The 50-metre lap pool is the first area to assess for structured beginner, stroke-development and fitness lessons. Its stated length may support longer repetitions, but the instructor still needs to check actual depth, recovery walls, entry points, resident traffic and the usable line on the day.

The rooftop 30-metre pool may provide another possible setting, but rooftop wind, glare, lift access, emergency movement and shared leisure use require separate checks. The children's pool, water-play area, aqua gym and spa features should not automatically be treated as teaching substitutes.

What is verified

The corporate completion record identifies Stirling Residences among Logan Group projects completed in Q4 2022. The brochure identifies LN Development (Stirling) Pte Ltd as developer and maps the aquatic areas across the estate.

At the main landscape level, the plan separates the 50-metre lap pool from the children's pool and children's water play. At the roof of 21 Stirling Road it separately identifies a 30-metre pool, pool pavilion and cabana facilities. Spa seats, aqua gym, bubbling features and water lounges have different purposes from ordinary stroke teaching.

The evidence does not establish current management rules, depths, lane markings, operating hours, visitor registration or permission for commercial coaching. Residents must verify those current facts with the management office.

Choosing between the main and rooftop pools

Before confirming a lesson, inspect:

  • depth along the intended lesson path;
  • stable walls and dependable recovery points;
  • steps, ladders, shelves and overflow edges;
  • the straight usable distance in the 50-metre or 30-metre pool;
  • crossings from decks, pavilions and residential blocks;
  • interaction with children's and leisure areas;
  • rooftop wind, glare and lift access where relevant;
  • caregiver waiting space; and
  • lightning, maintenance and closure procedures.

A stated pool length does not establish a reserved lane. Beginners may use only a short, easily supervised section even when a longer path is open.

Kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may work on safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, floating, kicking and controlled wall recovery in a part of the main pool with suitable depth and a reliable edge. The instructor should remain close enough to assist without obstructing resident circulation.

School-age learners may progress to freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, breathing coordination and longer repeats. Distance should increase only when technique and safety awareness remain consistent.

The children's pool and water-play area should not automatically be used for formal teaching. Shallow water, play features and other children can reduce visibility and create distraction. Parents remain responsible for active supervision before handover and immediately after the lesson.

Adult and ladies swimming lessons

Adult beginners may begin with relaxed exhalation, balance, floating, safe recovery and short controlled movement. Private coaching can adapt to anxiety and previous water experiences without guaranteeing progress within a fixed number of sessions.

Intermediate adults may use a suitable section for alignment, breathing efficiency, turns and repeat swimming. Fitness volume should follow sound technique and actual shared conditions.

A female swimming instructor may be requested for a child, adult beginner or ladies arrangement. Matching depends on Queenstown coverage, schedule, management access and instructor availability. A shared condominium pool cannot be represented as women-only.

Private and small-group formats

Private lessons may suit nervous beginners, learners needing close support or swimmers seeking technical correction. They do not provide exclusive use of either pool.

Small groups may suit siblings, couples or neighbours with compatible abilities. Group size should reflect pool traffic, visibility and management rules. A learner requiring continuous physical help may need a different arrangement from an independent swimmer completing lengths.

No instructor can guarantee that another resident will not enter the teaching area.

Pool-purpose boundaries

The 50-metre lap pool is the primary teaching candidate. The 30-metre rooftop pool requires a separate operational assessment rather than being assumed equivalent.

The aqua gym, spa seat, bubbling corner and water lounges have fitness, relaxation or social purposes. Jets, seating and irregular shapes may make them unsuitable for ordinary stroke lessons.

Ponds, reflective streams and landscape water are not swimming venues. The childcare-centre playground and its associated facilities are not part of ordinary resident coaching access.

Private-estate access

Stirling Residences is not a public swimming complex. The hosting resident should confirm whether external instructors are allowed, how visitors register, which gate and lift to use, whether identification or insurance is required and whether resident escort is mandatory.

Queenstown MRT, surrounding roads and nearby public amenities do not provide access to the private pools. A coach should never be asked to bypass security or follow another resident through a gate.

Previous entry does not prove continuing permission because estate rules can change.

Scheduling and weather

Provide several possible lesson windows during enquiry. Weekday periods may sometimes be quieter, but actual usage should be observed rather than guessed. Weekend and after-school traffic may be higher.

Outdoor and rooftop lessons are affected by lightning, heavy rain, wind, heat and glare. A pavilion does not make swimming safe during a lightning warning. Lessons should stop whenever conditions or site rules require it.

If the selected area becomes busy, the instructor may shorten repetitions, use stationary control drills or reschedule. Residents cannot be displaced from a shared facility.

Fees and lesson terms

Fees depend on lesson format, duration, participant count, instructor match, travel and estate requirements. This page does not invent a Stirling Residences-specific price. See fees and rates for the current general framework.

Written terms should cover weather decisions, notice periods, credits, make-ups, access-related cancellations and package expiry. A long package should not be selected solely because the estate advertises a 50-metre pool.

SwimSafer and safety goals

Condo lessons may build breathing control, floating, safe entry, rotation, wall recovery and sustained movement. If the learner is preparing for SwimSafer, share the stage and assessment goal during enquiry.

Practice at Stirling Residences does not itself issue a SwimSafer certificate. Formal programme eligibility, assessment arrangements and assessor requirements must be confirmed separately.

Frequently asked questions

Is Stirling Residences completed?

Yes. Logan Group's 2022 annual report records the project as completed in Q4 2022.

Which pool is most suitable for lessons?

The 50-metre lap pool is the first candidate. Actual depth, walls, traffic and management permission must still be assessed.

Can the rooftop pool be used?

Possibly, subject to current rules and a separate check of wind, glare, access, depth, walls and shared use.

Can children learn in the play pool?

It should not be assumed suitable. Play features and completed conditions require separate assessment.

Can I request a female instructor?

Yes, subject to coverage, access, schedule and availability.

Is a lane guaranteed?

No. Both pools remain shared residential facilities unless management expressly establishes another arrangement.

Sources and review note

Property facts were reviewed on 26 August 2026 using Logan Group's 2022 annual report, the developer-issued Stirling Residences brochure and the project architect's description. The brochure establishes facility names and planned dimensions; current operating rules require resident verification.
