Understanding Our Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT
- All payment made are strictly non-refundable or transferable
TERMINATION
- Students are required to give at least 1 month notice in the event whereby he/she wishes to withdraw from the Swim School.
GROUP LESSON (2 PAX AND ABOVE)
- There will strictly be no refunds, compensation or make-up lesson for any absentees, late coming or cancellation of any sorts.
- Lesson will be conducted once a week.
- Student is required to purchase the necessary equipment such as swimming attire, goggles, kicking board and swim cap for lessons.
- Fee payments are to be made before the commencement of the first lesson of every cycle.
- Student who missed 4 lessons or more will be removed from the class or slots will be taken over by other students.
- All group lessons must be completed within 4 weeks; failure to undergo the minimum required lessons will result in any outstanding lessons being forfeited.
- Students selected to take the swimsafer test are required to register and pay for their own test fee (excluding the month lessons fee)
- We reserve to postpone the start date of class in the event if the class size does not meet the minimum capacity and requirements.
- We reserve the right to merge different classes of similar level if class size does not meet the minimum capacity and requirements.
- We reserve the right to increase the no. of student in a class.
PRIVATE LESSON (1 PAX)
- Lost time due to late coming will not be compensated or make up.
- Late minute / same day cancellation will not be entertained.
- Students are required to inform the instructor 1 day in advance if they wish to cancel the swimming lesson (only applicable for student with valid medical certificate), after which make up lesson must be arranged with the instructor.
- All make up lesson should be arranged in favour to the coach’s schedule.
- Student must be responsible to arrange make up lesson if swimming lesson is cancelled.

ADVERSE WEATHER AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- The swimming coach and the pool authority reserve the rights to cancel or postpone the swimming lesson in the event of bad weather.
- Due to unforeseen circumstances, swimming lesson will be counted in the event of bad weather conditions.
- It is the student’s responsibility to inform the instructor if he/she is not feeling well or suffer from any medical conditions.
- On a bad weather day, the swimming coach and the pool authority reserve the exclusive rights to cancel the swimming lesson for safety reasons. Once a swimming lesson has started and has the be cancelled due to rain, there will be no makeup lesson. Please attend classes regardless of the weather conditions unless you have been informed that the lesson is cancelled. Lesson can be conducted under drizzling rain. Parent / Student are advised to contact the coach in the event of inclement weather.
CONSENT FOR USE OF CONTACT INFORMATION AND MEDIA
- By providing your contact number, email address, and/or by attending our classes, you hereby grant Blue Whale Tail and its partners (“the Organization”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) your explicit consent to collect, use, and process your Contact Information and any media (including photographs and videos) recorded during the classes as set forth in these Terms and Conditions. In addition, you consent to being contacted by any of our Swim2u Partners regarding classes, promotions, or other related activities. Please read these terms carefully before providing your Contact Information or participating in our classes.
RESPONSIBILITY
- We shall not be held liable for any claims arising from injury, damage, or loss of life that may occur while attending our swimming lessons. This includes any associated costs incurred as a result of such claims. It is further clarified that client shall be responsible for payment of any deposits, one-time payments, or monthly fees required by the condominium’s Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST).
