The same factsheet lists a 50m Lap Pool, Children’s Play Pool, Reflective Pool, Water Court Garden, Eco Pond, pool deck, sun deck, cabanas, changing rooms and steam baths. It does not publish current depth measurements, formal lane allocation, coaching permission, visitor procedures or operating hours.

Current management notices, poolside signs and resident rules take priority over historical sales material. A resident must verify the present conditions before any booking is confirmed.

Assessing the 50m lap pool

A published 50-metre pool length is useful for lesson planning, but it does not guarantee a continuous training lane. Before teaching, check:

• the usable straight path and any lane markings;
• depth changes and whether the learner can stand where needed;
• stable walls and reachable recovery points;
• steps, ladders, ledges and overflow edges;
• sightlines across the selected section;
• crossings from residents and recreational swimmers;
• glare, water clarity and deck obstructions;
• lightning and pool-closure procedures; and
• the nearest approved emergency access route.

Beginners do not need to use the full length. Short repeats near a dependable wall may be safer until breathing, balance and recovery become consistent.

Kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may work on safe entry, bubbles, face immersion, floating, kicking and returning to a wall in a suitable section of the lap pool. The instructor should remain within immediate support range and should not rely on pool length as a substitute for close supervision.

School-age swimmers may progress to freestyle and backstroke alignment, breaststroke timing, coordinated breathing and controlled distance. The available route should be shortened when the pool becomes busy.

The children’s play pool is not automatically the safest lesson area. Shallow water, irregular edges, play activity or fixed features may limit body position and visibility. A parent or designated caregiver remains responsible before lesson handover and immediately after class.

Adult and ladies swimming lessons

Adult beginners may start with relaxed exhalation, balance, floating, standing recovery and short supported movement. A nervous learner can remain near a suitable wall rather than being asked to cross the full pool.
