Assessing the planned Azure Pool

The pool may support lessons if it provides a clear swimming path, suitable depth and stable recovery points. Its relationship with the overlooking gym, lounge deck and other social facilities may affect privacy and traffic.

After handover, inspect:

• actual length, width and depth profile;
• straight-line space and any curves or changing widths;
• stable walls and reachable recovery points;
• steps, ladders, ledges and overflow edges;
• sightlines around landscaping, towers and decks;
• recreational traffic and swimmer crossings;
• caregiver waiting and changing arrangements; and
• lightning, maintenance and closure procedures.

No pool name or artist impression guarantees a reserved lane.

Future kids swimming lessons

Young beginners may practise safe entry, face immersion, relaxed exhalation, floating, kicking and wall recovery after completed depth and edges are assessed. A child who depends on standing may need another venue if the Azure Pool has no suitable shallow area.

Independent children may progress to freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and breathing coordination if a clear swimming path exists. The Azure Spa should not be selected merely because it appears smaller or calmer.

Future adult and ladies lessons

Private lessons may suit anxious beginners or focused correction. Small groups may suit household members or residents with compatible abilities and supervision needs.

Group size must reflect actual depth, sightlines, traffic and estate rules. The development's communal facilities do not create exclusive teaching space.

One Sophia includes two residential blocks, an office block and commercial areas. Access to shops, offices, basement parking or public circulation does not provide access to residential amenities.

Nearby Bencoolen, Rochor and Dhoby Ghaut transport links make the neighbourhood accessible, but proximity does not grant estate entry. Public streets, malls and educational institutions are not lesson meeting points unless the resident and instructor have agreed on an approved location.

The instructor should avoid blocking residential lobbies or commercial drop-offs and follow the estate's actual visitor route.

Timing and first-session checks

Expected vacant possession is not actual TOP, resident handover or pool opening. Residents should not purchase a property-specific package until lawful access begins, management rules are known and the completed pool has been assessed.

The first session should confirm the meeting point, chosen pool area, depth, safe recovery wall, changing facilities, deck notices and emergency procedures. If completed conditions differ from the brochure, actual conditions must control the programme and future page updates.
