Three 11 Swimming Lessons

Illustrative swimming-lesson image. It is not a photograph of Three 11 and does not show its current pool conditions.
Three 11 residents can ask about swimming lessons at *311 Upper Thomson Road, Singapore 574409*. Unlike a generic “Thomson” result, this guide concerns the exact 65-home development and its documented shared swimming facilities. We explain what the pool records support, what they cannot tell us, and how a resident can request a safe lesson assessment.
There is no claim that SwimmingClasses.sg already runs a scheduled class at Three 11. Any arrangement depends on the estate's present pool rules, permission for a visiting instructor, safe usable water and coach availability. The management team—not this page—decides facility access.
Three 11, not Thomson Three
The saved URA-derived record identifies 65 homes at postcode 574409. The original Three 11 brochure describes 65 apartments with a basement and swimming pool on the site at 311 Upper Thomson Road. It gives the developer as *Aurum Land (Private) Limited*. Some current portal material uses “Auram”; the brochure's first-party spelling is retained here without treating the variation as another project.
99.co's Three 11 record displays a September 2015 completion label, while PropertyGuru shows 2016. We describe it as completed and disclose the year variation. We do not invent a precise handover date.
The similarly named *Thomson Three* is a different condominium at Bright Hill Drive. Pool sizes, resident rules, teaching space and photographs associated with Thomson Three cannot be used to describe Three 11. The numeral in Three 11's name is part of its project identity, not an instruction to use another estate's page.
What is known about the aquatic areas
The brochure's project description provides first-party evidence of a swimming pool. Current 99.co facilities label a *lap pool, wading pool and spa pool* for the exact Three 11 address. PropertyGuru also describes a lap pool and children's pool. These labels make an onsite swimming enquiry reasonable, but they do not verify that all water features are open today or that outside coaching is approved.
The word “lap” is a property-listing label, not a verified present measurement. No current length, usable lane width, depth profile or unobstructed training distance was established. A coach must see the water and its traffic before setting distance goals. We do not call it a competition pool.
The wading or children's-pool label likewise does not establish a safe teaching depth, non-slip entry or present condition. It may suit some supervised introduction activities after inspection; it is not automatically suitable for a nervous beginner. The *spa pool is excluded* from swimming instruction, warm-up drills and group overflow. Do not substitute it when the swimming pool is crowded.
Nothing reviewed confirms lifeguard coverage, reserved lessons, opening hours or permission for a commercial instructor. Those questions belong to current management and posted notices. If the swimming pool is temporarily closed or coaching is not allowed, a different approved venue is the honest next step.
Check access before discussing lesson days
A resident can ask management whether an external swimming coach may enter the pool area, whether the resident must accompany them, and what registration or documents are required. Ask also about coaching times, equipment, group limits, pool maintenance and any rules for the smaller aquatic areas.
Three 11 is a residential estate. Someone who can visit the surrounding Upper Thomson neighbourhood does not gain entry to the pool. We will not ask you to share a card or access code, and we cannot guarantee security approval. Give us only the management instructions needed to assess an authorised visit.
If a learner needs a step-free route, check the actual path from the permitted entrance to the pool and any changing space with management. This guide does not certify barrier-free pool access. A coach should know about a mobility need before proposing a venue, not discover an inaccessible route when the family arrives.
What the first session could establish
The best initial outcome is a realistic learner and pool assessment. For a new swimmer, the coach may check comfort at the edge, ability to follow instructions, breathing response, buoyancy and safe recovery to standing. For a swimmer with experience, the assessment may focus on one stroke problem or the usable repetition distance.
The pool may be shared with other residents. The instructor can choose shorter drills, pause for crossing traffic or propose another time if the water is busy. A lesson should never require ordinary residents to surrender a lane or move out of an area unless management has explicitly arranged it.
Observe entrances, steps, depth changes, visibility and where a swimmer could safely stop. If any of those are unsuitable for the learner's ability, do not force the planned exercise simply because the estate advertises a pool. A different pool may better serve the swimmer.
Children and family goals
For a child who is still building water confidence, the sequence might begin with relaxed bubbles and face wetting, then supported floating, turning toward safety and short movement with a stable recovery. Parents can tell us what the child can already do, what causes worry, and whether they can stay nearby as required.
A child who swims independently may benefit from body position, breathing timing, kicking rhythm or stroke coordination. The coach should match repetitions to the actual clear path and avoid using a claimed lap distance as a target. If the wading area is considered, its real depth, edges and other users must be checked first.
Families preparing for SwimSafer can mention the learner's stage and specific skills needing practice. Instruction may support those skills where the facility permits it. This is not a claim that Three 11 is a SwimSafer test centre or that every assessment requirement can be completed in its pool.
For siblings, we would compare ages, confidence and ability before suggesting a shared session. A confident older child and a first-time younger learner may need separate attention. The instructor must be able to monitor both within the space management allows; group size is not promised from a property brochure.
Adults and technique work
Adults learning to swim often want to build confidence without a fast group pace. A private lesson can focus first on calm breathing, floating and a reliable route back to the edge. The coach may then add propulsion and a simple stroke pattern only when the learner is ready.
If you already swim, tell us the issue you want to improve: perhaps inhaling without lifting the head, maintaining a streamlined position, or coordinating breaststroke arms and legs. A modest clear-water section can still support targeted drills. It may not support long uninterrupted sets, so we will not sell a distance-based training plan before an onsite check.
Mention strong water anxiety, injury, mobility limitations or medical advice when enquiring. Coaching can be adjusted but is not medical treatment or clearance. If the estate pool cannot safely accommodate the learner's needs, we can discuss another location.
Private lessons, small groups and shared-pool etiquette
One-to-one coaching allows more immediate correction and may be easier to manage in a shared pool. A small resident group can be considered when participants have compatible ability and the instructor can see and reach everyone. Management may impose stricter limits than a coach's usual group format.
No exclusive teaching section, fixed group maximum or guaranteed quiet hour is advertised here. The right format depends on actual space, the number of residents swimming, approved equipment and supervision needs. A resident should not assume that the spa pool or wading area can be used to expand a group lesson.
Poolside safety also matters. Arrive according to the estate's access process, walk rather than run, keep bags clear of exits, and stop drills if water clarity or crowding changes. Children need active supervision consistent with estate rules. No reviewed source establishes a lifeguard on duty.
Fees, timing and how to enquire
You can suggest weekday or weekend windows, but the reply must account for the estate's operating hours and instructor availability. We cannot reserve a Three 11 slot from this page alone. A regular schedule should follow an authorised first visit and a suitable assessment.
See the swimming class fees guide for general pricing information. The final quote depends on lesson format, number of learners and current terms. Do not pay on the assumption that the estate will approve an outside coach later.
When using the form, identify *Three 11 at 311 Upper Thomson Road*, whether you are an authorised resident, the learner's ability, the desired outcome, possible times and any access need. Do not submit a unit access code. We can then discuss the management checks and whether a private or small resident-group lesson makes sense.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a class immediately?
You can send an enquiry immediately. A booking needs confirmation that the pool is open, outside coaching is permitted, the learner can use the approved area safely, and an instructor is available.
Is the wading pool ideal for toddlers?
The current listings use a wading or children's-pool label, but they do not prove its current depth, design or suitability for a particular child. A parent and coach must assess it under estate rules.
Can adults use the lap pool for fitness sets?
Possibly, if current access and clear water permit. “Lap pool” is not proof of its present measured distance or an exclusive lane. The coach should set repetitions only after observing the actual pool.
Could the spa pool be used for a beginner lesson?
No. The spa pool is not part of the proposed swimming-instruction area. A suitable approved swimming-pool position must be identified instead.
Is this about Thomson Three?
No. Thomson Three is a separate estate at Bright Hill Drive. Tell us the exact project name when enquiring so we do not apply another condo's rules or facilities.
