Treasure Gardens Swimming Lessons
Treasure Gardens residents can enquire about swimming lessons at the named apartment estate currently listed as 22 Teow Hock Avenue, Singapore 545708. The development has 22 homes in one block according to its 99.co project record. Its facility list names a swimming pool, a wading pool and a Jacuzzi. Those names help us ask the right questions; they do not establish current opening, water conditions or permission for a paid instructor.
This page is for Treasure Gardens near Kovan, not Treasure Crest, Treasure at Tampines, The Garden Residences or a similarly named landed home. Before a lesson is arranged, a resident must check estate access rules and an instructor must assess the exact permitted pool area.

This is a general swimming-lessons image, not a photograph of Treasure Gardens. It does not show the estate's present pool layout or condition.
Address and project identity
Current 99.co and PropertyGuru records place Treasure Gardens at 22 Teow Hock Avenue, postcode 545708. They describe a completed freehold, 22-home apartment project; 99.co labels completion January 2005, while PropertyGuru gives 2005 without a month. These are portal-reported dates, not a claim that we checked a statutory TOP certificate.
An older Fragrance Group document hosted by SGX names Treasure Gardens at “22 Teow Hock Road” and notes the former “43 Flower Road” address. That is how the historical document is worded. The current project records use Teow Hock Avenue and postcode 545708. We cannot establish from the reviewed material why the road label differs, so a resident should use the current address and confirm visitor directions with management. The historical source supports project-name continuity, not a separate swimming facility.
The development's small size does not imply that coaching is automatically allowed or that residents can bring an outside visitor to the pool without registration. Estate rules must be checked in their current form.
Which water area could suit a lesson?
The portal facility list separates swimming pool, wading pool and Jacuzzi. The ordinary swimming pool is the starting candidate for assessment. The wading pool could be considered only if management permits it and the instructor confirms its actual depth, visibility, access and suitability for the learner. A wading-pool label alone is not proof of safe beginner water. The Jacuzzi is not a learn-to-swim venue.
Neither portal gives a verified current swimming length, depth profile, clear training path, lifeguard rota or coaching policy. Their data sources may overlap. We therefore do not call the estate pool a lap pool, promise a shallow lesson area or imply exclusive use. If another resident is swimming, the instructor must adjust the drill or timing rather than displace ordinary use.
An on-site check can change the plan. The coach needs to see where a learner can enter, regain footing or reach a wall; whether depth changes are apparent; whether the deck is clear; and whether enough water remains for supervised movement. If the available section does not fit the swimmer, a different authorised pool may be the better choice.
Lessons for children and adults
For a child who is uneasy around water, a useful first session may be short and highly controlled: breathing out in water, touching the face to the surface, holding a safe edge, supported floating and returning to a stable position. The instructor should choose the activity after observing the actual pool—not from an assumed wading depth. A parent or responsible adult must follow the supervision arrangement agreed with the coach and any management rules.
An older child who already swims could request help with body alignment, freestyle breathing, breaststroke timing or calm turning. The usable distance may be shorter than the child expects. Technique drills can be scaled to the water path instead of making unsupported promises about distance or stroke milestones.
Adult beginners may start with water orientation, controlled exhalation, buoyancy and a reliable recovery to standing. Tell us if strong water anxiety, injury, mobility needs or medical advice affect the lesson. An instructor may recommend a larger public pool or another approved venue if this residential setting cannot support a safe progression.
Siblings or a small resident group can be considered only when the coach can supervise every participant in one approved area. Different confidence levels, resident traffic or management participant limits may make separate sessions safer. No standing group size or weekly slot is promised.
Permission and the first visit
The hosting resident should ask the current MCST or managing agent whether an external swimming instructor may enter and coach; whether the resident must accompany or register the visitor; which water area may be used; and whether teaching aids, photography or group lessons need advance approval. An estate facility listing is not permission for commercial activity.
At a first permitted visit, the instructor should inspect the entry and exit points, edge and wall access, depth changes, water clarity, lighting or glare, wet-deck grip, resident traffic and emergency route. Agree on a clear stop signal with the learner. For a beginner, confidence in breathing and safe recovery matters more than crossing the pool.
If a swimmer or accompanying adult needs step-free access, ask management about gates, lifts, changing facilities and the route from the arrival point to the pool deck. None of those arrangements can be inferred from a property portal. Share the access requirement in the enquiry without sending gate codes or identity documents.
Current pool notices, maintenance closures, security directions and bylaws override this page. A coach may postpone when there is lightning, heavy rain, poor visibility, unsafe water or deck conditions, distress or excessive crowding. No lifeguard coverage is assumed; flotation aids never replace active supervision.
Planning a workable schedule
You may request weekday, weekend, morning or after-school windows. Ask about present pool hours and periods of high resident use before choosing a preferred time. The first visit may reveal that a different window is more comfortable for a nervous learner or more practical for stroke drills.
Weekly practice can help consolidate a skill, but there is no guaranteed progress timetable. For a learner practising between coached sessions, the instructor should specify safe, short exercises and supervision requirements. Do not practise breath-holding contests, dive into unverified depths or swim alone because a residential pool happens to be nearby.
The lesson price depends on format, duration, learner count, instructor match and access logistics. See the swimming lesson fees guide and request a current written quotation. Confirm cancellation, weather and make-up terms before buying a package.
Common questions
Does Treasure Gardens have a swimming pool?
Current exact-address property records list a swimming pool. That is not a live inspection; management should confirm present operation and whether lessons are permitted.
May beginners use the wading pool?
Possibly, but not on the facility name alone. Management must allow it, and the instructor must assess depth, layout, water condition and supervision fit. The Jacuzzi is excluded.
Is this the same as Treasure Crest or Treasure at Tampines?
No. Those are different developments with different facilities and management. This guide concerns the 22-home Treasure Gardens project at current address 22 Teow Hock Avenue, 545708.
Why does an older document say Teow Hock Road?
The SGX-hosted historical Fragrance document uses that wording; current property records use Teow Hock Avenue. The reason for the difference was not established. Confirm present visitor directions with estate management.
Can an outside swimming teacher come every week?
Only if current management permits that instructor and any required registration, timings and equipment. An enquiry or first lesson does not confer ongoing access.
Enquire about Treasure Gardens swimming lessons
Tell us the exact estate, the swimmer's age or adult status, present water confidence, main goal and two or three possible time windows. Mention whether the resident has confirmed outside-coach permission and any practical access needs. Sending this form begins a feasibility conversation; it is not a confirmed booking or pool reservation.
Compare kids swimming lessons, adult swimming lessons, private swimming lessons, ladies swimming lessons, small-group classes and the Singapore condo directory. These links explain formats; they do not establish that any particular format is permitted at Treasure Gardens.
