The 25m designation does not establish competition certification, lane markings, starting blocks, uniform depth or exclusive training space. An instructor should inspect depth signs, entries, exits, resting points and the completed clear route.

Family Pool

The Family Pool may suit beginner movements if its depth and layout match the learner's height and confidence. Its name does not prove it is shallow throughout.

Family leisure traffic can make structured instruction difficult during busy periods. The coach should use it only when permitted and appropriate for the specific learner.

Jet Pool, Spa Cove and Aqua Gym

Jets, seating, steps and water movement can interfere with balance, breathing and communication. The Aqua Gym may contain exercise features intended for water fitness rather than swimming lengths.

These settings should not be promoted for ordinary learn-to-swim, stroke or fitness lessons. Specialist therapeutic or aqua activity requires appropriate professional scope and specific permission.

Water-themed landscape and lounge features

The named waterfall, stream, trail, bed, terrace and wet-deck features have landscape or relaxation purposes. Their names do not establish authorised swimming water.

Learners should enter only recognised pools approved for the session. Decorative streams and waterfall areas are not lesson venues.

Lesson options

Kids swimming lessons

Children can develop safe entry and exit, bubbles, breath control, floating, kicking, recovery skills and age-appropriate stroke foundations. The coach should select the Family or Lap Pool according to the child's height, confidence and ability.

Parents should disclose relevant medical, sensory or communication needs before the first session. Progress varies, so no fixed lesson count should be guaranteed.

Children must not move independently among water-themed features. Explain the distinction between swimmable and decorative water clearly.

Adult beginner lessons

Adult beginners may work gradually on breathing, balance, floating, recovery to standing, propulsion and coordinated movements. Private coaching can provide individual pacing and focused feedback.

Tell the instructor about injuries, exercise restrictions or difficult water experiences. If the completed depth or layout is unsuitable, another venue may be safer than moving into a jet, spa or aqua-gym area.

Ladies swimming lessons

Other residents retain equal access. Drills should be adjusted if steps, leisure users or pool configuration interrupt the course, and the pool should not be represented as competition-standard.

Group size must follow estate rules and preserve safe sightlines. Large mixed-level groups may obstruct residents or become difficult to supervise across the extensive facilities landscape.

Resident and management checks

Before paying for recurring lessons, ask the managing agent or MCST:

• whether external swimming instructors are currently permitted;
• whether identification, registration or insurance documents are required;
